1923 – Founded by Mr. Guido Spriano, pioneer of industrial instrumentation, Spriano starts its activities by producing Pressure Gauges and Thermometers.

1936Spriano produces the first Pneumatic Modulating Regulator designed and built in Italy, thus contributing significantly to the technical progress in the field of Automation and Control for Food Industry, Rubber and Petrochemicals.

1970 – Spriano designs and manufactures a complete line of Regulating Valves under the brand name Mec-Rela®, for the control of industrial processes.

1980 – Spriano starts production of Electronic Measuring Instruments, developing a full line of 2-wire analog tools.

A few years later, Spriano produced his first electronic instruments with the integrated abilities of Transmission and Regulation, using the then innovative microprocessor technology and providing new tools to industrial process control.

1982 – Spriano enters the History of the Industrial Instrumentation, host of the National Museum of Science and Technology “Leonardo da Vinci” in Milan.

To date, in the Gisi Hall of the Museum “Leonardo da Vinci” in Milan, are permanently exposed Spriano® precision instruments produced in the ’30s and ’50s of last century.

1990 – Spriano develops and consolidates its presence in foreign markets.

2010 – Spriano moves its headquarters to the new facility in Via Verona 6, Cornaredo (Milan).
